New Grad, Entry LevelAmrize, a leading manufacturer in the roofing industry, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. The role involves managing accounts receivable, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely payments from clients.

Responsibilities
Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff
Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent
Process account credit reports and assist with monitoring credit limits
Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data
Process credit cards and deposit checks as needed
Assist with customer service items including waivers, invoices, statements and many other customer requests
Review customer accounts and contact delinquent account holders to request payment
Assist with tax exemption verifications to ensure proper tax credits are executed
Monitor group email and assign tasks as necessary
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
Ability to negotiate
