Responsibilities
Develop expert-level knowledge of concepts and features through independent research and collaboration with Subject Matter Experts
Determine the type of content that will best serve the target audience and meet business goals
Create educational content from conception to publication
Write scripts and storyboards and create videos for Orange Logic University lessons
Write insightful documents that provide clear and thorough explanations of complex concepts
Create diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to assist readers in understanding a feature or process
Revise documents based on feedback from team members
Peer-review team members’ work and provide objective feedback focused on making the content effective and engaging for the target audience
Review legacy documentation and rewrite it to transform the content into effective educational material
Qualification
Required
3+ years of professional writing experience in a SaaS company with a technical product
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Instructional Design, or equivalent field or related experience
Exceptional writing and grammatical skills
Great storyteller who can take any information and transform it into understandable, engaging written content
Highly skilled at breaking down and translating complex technical concepts to a wide audience
Passionate about teaching, learning, and understanding the target audience
Ability to think outside the box. You can learn about a concept from a technical perspective, establish a deep understanding of the concept, and tailor your approach to ensure that the content presented is clear, logical, and easy-to-understand
Excellent collaboration, time management, project management, and organizational skills
