Organizational Development Analyst

The California Department of Housing & Community Development is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and inclusive work environment. The Organizational Development Analyst will perform complex analytical assignments to improve business processes and support strategic initiatives within the department.

Government Administration

Responsibilities

Perform varied and complex technical analytical assignments in the development and implementation of enterprise-wide organizational efforts to improve business processes that align with strategic direction
Perform research and analysis as it relates to strategic planning, business process innovation, change management and organizational development
Supports and models an adaptive organizational culture, which reinforces continuous learning, supports collaboration with stakeholders, and delivers quality services and training
All activities will be guided by a business process improvement approach to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Required

Statement of Qualifications - Your SOQ must be in Arial, 12-point font, single spaced, no more than two pages, include any relevant experience, education, and training, and answer the prompts below. Applications received without an SOQ may not be considered
Describe a time you led or supported a strategic governance effort (e.g., a leadership steering group, goals team, or portfolio committee) to define/refine goals, objectives, and KPIs and to manage a project/services portfolio
Select a business process you analyzed and improved. Explain your end-to-end approach from discovery to implementation and measurable outcomes
Describe a department or division-level change initiative you designed or led (or co-led). Provide a concise change management plan and outcomes
