Review and assess existing data sources and data source systems within the agency
Identify threats to data validity and reliability
Work with various divisions and stakeholders to develop actionable recommendations
Review data source training materials and conduct subject matter expert and stakeholder interviews
Shadow data source users and conduct source system table analysis
Review, synthesize, and prioritize all threats
Develop and present actionable recommendations to mitigate identified threats
Qualification
Required
5+ years of BA Experience in IT projects
IT software/application project experience required
Excel spreadsheets - 5 Years
Knowledge of data warehouses - 5 Years
Ability to assess data validity and reliability - 5 Years
Experience conducting data source / system reviews - 5 Years
Ability to analyze both structured and unstructured data - 5 Years
Experience evaluating business processes and system procedures - 5 Years
Ability to build trust and working relationships - 5 Years
Facilitation and interview skills - 5 Years
Translation of technical issues into plain language - 5 Years
Project management and self-management skills - 5 Years
Preferred
Experience conducting threat or risk assessments - 5 Years
Experience working in state government or large public-sector organizations - 5 Years
Familiarity with health, behavioral health, or human services data systems - 5 Years
Experience validating data used for reporting, performance measures, or compliance - 5 Years
Experience supporting system modernization or data improvement initiatives - 5 Years
Experience presenting findings to leadership or executive audiences - 5 Years
SQL - 5 Years
