Responsibilities
Follows the labeling procedures for each type of order
Pickers will accurately pick multiple customer orders based on pick sheets for the day
Once orders are complete, use the proper procedure by package type to either stage or place on the conveyor for the packing clerk to prep for shipping
Cross-trains to process daily outgoing orders
Performs picking, packing, and provides the necessary documentation to ship materials domestically and internationally
Completes the required paperwork for international shipments, such as detailed packing lists, certificates of origin, airway bills, and proper use of commercial invoice(s), etc
Assists other team members, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction
Performs all tasks to ensure a safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures and policies
Works as part of a team by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner
Must be able to work overtime as required
Cleans and sweeps the work area and removes trash regularly
Performs other duties assigned
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency with MS Office, Word, Excel, and online shipping software such as UPS, FEDEX, and DHL
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions – understand implied instructions
Lift, carry, pull, and push 30 -35 pounds occasionally
The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and possess problem-solving abilities
The ability to constantly stand and move around the warehouse
Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching required
Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is necessary for adequate scheduling and coverage
May be required to complete and pass Public Trust Security Clearance

Flexibility in work hours may be required
Preferred
Pallet Jack experience preferred; may be required
Certification of all equipment used in this position will be obtained from DCG programs, such as forklifts or high pickers
