This role involves coordination and communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency, particularly during emergencies.

Responsibilities
Accurately log and report work hours and activities
Follow directives from supervisors and team leaders
Communicate effectively via phone and email across DCF offices statewide
Maintain and manage state vehicles in compliance with CFOP 40-2 Vehicle Management policies
Assist with internal and external office moves across multiple sites
Manage physical access systems including keys and keycards; maintain detailed access logs
Dispose of surplus furniture and materials per CFOP 80-2 guidelines
Supply and install office furniture, desks, whiteboards, corkboards, and wall fixtures
Support IT teams during equipment relocations and large-scale office moves
Safely move heavy office equipment using hand dollies and carts (per CFOP 215-4 Safety & Loss Control)
Conduct site inspections and ensure facilities are operational (HVAC, lighting, safety compliance)
Maintain warehouse organization and inventory; keep aisles clear and orderly
Coordinate supply orders and purchase order (PO) requests—no unauthorized services
Assist with Disaster Management efforts during hurricanes or emergency events
Address and escalate safety concerns immediately; ensure no safety risks before leaving any site
Handle trespassing incidents per state protocol and notify designated contacts
Transfer surplus IT equipment to designated warehouse locations
Travel across Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Sarasota counties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED (Required)
Valid Florida Driver's License (Required)
Ability to pass Level 2 background screening and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Professional, courteous, and respectful conduct at all times
Experience with: Fleet vehicle management
Experience with: Supply and warehouse management
Experience with: Facility site inspections
Experience with: OSHA and workplace safety regulations
Experience with: Disaster Management and emergency preparedness
Experience with: Moving heavy furniture and office equipment
Experience with: IT equipment handling (minimum 6 months)
Familiarity with Central Florida geography and GPS navigation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
