Responsibilities
Represent issuers and their directors and officers in securities class actions, derivative suits, merger litigation and other civil actions arising from securities-related disputes
Handle investigations, regulatory, and government enforcement practice
Represent audit and special committees in connection with internal investigations related to allegations of accounting fraud, whistleblower claims, or alleged violations of anti-bribery and anti-money laundering laws
Defend companies and individuals in connection with DOJ, SEC and state attorney general investigations and regulatory proceedings
Qualification
Required
4+ years of relevant litigation experience
Demonstrated interest and background in government enforcement and internal investigations
Superior academic credentials and excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
Admitted to the Washington, D.C. Bar, are eligible to sit for the next bar exam, or able to waive in
Preferred
Experience with congressional inquiries and crisis management is strongly preferred
