Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and shoppers by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and customer assistance protocols at a retail location
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, and fire or alarm activations, and notify appropriate parties as required
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, loading or receiving areas, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations
Monitor entrances, interior activity, and exterior areas for unusual conditions, document observations, and complete reports such as incident, patrol, and daily activity logs
Assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods and special events, provide directions and information, and coordinate with property management and local responders when needed
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
A minimum of 6 months of security experience is required
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required per client requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
