Responsibilities

Design and model wire harnesses and cable assemblies in 3D CAD (preferably Siemens NX/PLM)
Develop and release detailed harness drawings, electrical interconnects, and schematics
Interpret and apply electrical schematics, block diagrams, and system layouts to mechanical designs
Collaborate with electrical, systems, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration
Support satellite build, testing, and troubleshooting during assembly and verification phases
Maintain engineering documentation, version control, and configuration traceability

Required

5+ years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical harness design
Proficiency in 3D CAD (Siemens NX preferred; SolidWorks or CATIA acceptable with adaptability)
Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and perform harness drafting
Experience with Capital or similar electrical design tools a strong plus
Background in aerospace or automotive EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems) highly valued
Demonstrated ownership, attention to detail, and ability to deliver in fast-paced environments
