McLane Company, Inc. is a leader in the distribution industry, seeking a Senior IT Technical Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment process for IT leadership and technical roles. This role involves collaborating with IT and HR executives to attract top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience aligned with McLane's values.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT roles, leveraging job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, and niche platforms
Collaborate with Marketing to assist in creating compelling job postings that showcase McLane’s culture and career opportunities, transforming descriptions into engaging advertisements and promoting the employer brand through social media, recruitment videos, and enhanced career site content
Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive outreach, networking, and participation in tech events. Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and passive candidates for future opportunities, maintaining an active network of potential hires
Conduct initial interviews to evaluate technical skills and cultural fit; coordinate technical assessments and interviews
Partner with IT hiring managers to understand role requirements and advise on current trends in the IT talent market, including emerging skill sets, and competitor hiring activities, to inform recruitment strategies and advise hiring managers
Utilize McLane’s Applicant Tracking System and CRM tools for candidate tracking and communication campaigns
Work with Marketing to promote McLane’s employer brand through social media, recruitment videos, and career site enhancements
Ensure adherence to McLane’s policies and equal employment opportunity standards
Support internal career progression by identifying qualified employees for open IT roles
Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies and technology partners when needed, ensuring quality and cost-effective services

Required

Bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in technical recruiting or IT staffing
Detailed familiarity and experience with IT roles and technologies (e.g., cloud, networking, software development)
Proficiency with ATS and sourcing tools
Strong communication and negotiation skills

Preferred

IT specialist technical background or experience
Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding
Knowledge of McLane's operational environment or supply chain industry
Certified Technical Recruiter (CTR) is a plus
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
