Responsibilities
Process and verify vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
Manage weekly payment runs and vendor payments
Reconcile Accounts Payable accounts and resolve discrepancies
Maintain vendor files, W-9s, and payment documentation
Respond to vendor inquiries and internal payment requests
Assist with tax communication and auditing in conjunction with accounting department
Prepare, track, and process annual 1099 forms
Assist with month-end and year-end close, including accruals and reconciliations
Provide general accounting and administrative support as needed
Willing to take ownership and take on other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of accounting experience, including accounts payable
Strong attention to detail
Proficient in Excel and data entry
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Comfortable working in a high-stress, face-paced environment with shifting priorities
Excellent time management, organizational, and analytical skills
Self-starter who can find and resolve issues as they are identified
Ability to successfully interface with a wide range of personnel within the organization
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent work experience accepted
Experience with accounting software, Rootstock is a plus
