Mid, Senior LevelAmerican Restoration is seeking an experienced Large Loss Project Manager to oversee complex, high-value mitigation and fire loss projects from initial assessment through final completion. This role involves managing projects across all divisions while ensuring scope accuracy, schedule adherence, and budget control.

Responsibilities
Manage complex large-loss mitigation and fire restoration projects from loss assessment through close-out
Conduct detailed site inspections to assess damage, define scope, identify risks, and establish project strategy
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources across all divisions
Ensure projects transition seamlessly between mitigation, demolition, pack-out, and reconstruction phases
Monitor progress to ensure compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and insurance requirements
Oversee reconstruction scope development, estimating, scheduling, and execution
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal reconstruction teams
Review plans, specifications, change orders, and job costing for accuracy and profitability
Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and timely completion of reconstruction work
Conduct job walks, punch lists, and final inspections prior to project close-out
Oversee mitigation activities including water extraction, drying, fire/smoke cleaning, and environmental controls
Coordinate mitigation technicians and supervisors to ensure proper equipment usage and documentation
Ensure mitigation efforts meet IICRC standards and carrier requirements
Review moisture mapping, drying logs, and mitigation documentation for accuracy and completeness
Act as the primary liaison between customers, insurance adjusters, agents, and internal staff
Provide clear, consistent updates on project status, scope changes, timelines, and expectations
Resolve issues proactively to maintain customer satisfaction and carrier confidence
Collaborate closely with estimating, accounting, operations, and leadership teams
Ensure complete and accurate documentation in all systems, including photos, estimates, notes, and reports
Maintain organized job files and ensure compliance with company and insurance guidelines
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience managing large-loss restoration projects, including fire and complex mitigation losses
Strong understanding of mitigation and restoration workflows
Exceptional organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Knowledge of insurance processes, estimating platforms, and industry standards (IICRC preferred)
