Seasonal Restoration Technicians
People Architects is proud to partner with Cleveland Museum of Natural History in recruiting for Seasonal Restoration Technicians to support hands-on ecological restoration and biodiversity management work across marsh and swamp forest habitats at Mentor Marsh. This role involves implementing land management techniques and supporting the restoration of native ecosystems through field-based work. It is a seasonal position focused on physical stewardship and biodiversity management.

Responsibilities
Implement land management and invasive species control techniques using appropriate tools and equipment
Operate and maintain hand and power tools for invasive plant management
Operate an amphibious utility task vehicle (UTV)
Apply a variety of land management and invasive species control techniques
Assist with monitoring, mapping, and data entry related to invasive plant populations and treatment areas
Analyze GPS and aerial drone mapping data and contribute to GIS maps that help prioritize restoration efforts
Assist with plant identification using taxonomic field guides
Identify, collect, and distribute seeds and cuttings to support marsh habitat restoration
Support additional field and restoration tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license
Preferred
3 months of related field or outdoor work experience
Bachelor's degree (or current undergraduate study) in Biology, Botany, Restoration Ecology, or a related field
