Contract Specialist

Responsibilities
Review, draft, negotiate, approve, and prepare contract agreements using the Brown Contract Management (BCM) system
Serve as a liaison between campus partners, departmental stakeholders, and supplier contracting representatives
Establish and improve communication channels with campus partners to provide guidance on contract review and best practices
Negotiate agreements with suppliers in accordance with university policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Experience in contract management and negotiation
Proficiency in using document management systems like the Jaggaer Contracts platform
3-5 years of relevant experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred
Paralegal expertise
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to multitask and strategic thinking
