Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ServiceNow implementations
Develop and configure ServiceNow modules, including but not limited to Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, Service Catalog, Service Portal, HR Service Delivery, IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Business Management (ITBM)
Customize ServiceNow applications using Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, and other scripting techniques to meet specific business needs and enhance user experience
Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications and systems using REST, SOAP, and other integration methods
Design and implement workflows and automation processes using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and other automation tools in ServiceNow
Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for ServiceNow applications, including customizing forms, lists, and widgets
Manage data within ServiceNow, including defining data structures, creating data sources, and managing import sets and transform maps
Identify and implement performance improvements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize ServiceNow platform to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, technical diagrams, and user guides
Provide training and support to end-users and internal teams on ServiceNow features and functionality
Ensure ServiceNow solutions adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements
Keep abreast of the latest ServiceNow releases, features, and best practices to continuously enhance your knowledge and skillset
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with hands-on expertise in all modules of ServiceNow
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies
Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices
Experience in integrating ServiceNow with external systems and applications
Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Preferred
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is preferred
