The role will focus on supporting multiple product development projects, particularly refining and advancing designs for specialized desktop inkjet printers.

Responsibilities

Support multiple product development projects over an approximately six-month period
Focus on specialized desktop inkjet printers for prosumer, B2B, and industrial markets
Refine and advance existing proof-of-concept models for manufacturing

Qualification

Mechanical design engineeringCAD software (SolidWorks)Design for manufacturingPrinter mechanismsThermal managementSheet metal designPlastic injection moldingRegulatory compliance knowledge

Required

5+ years of mechanical design engineering experience
Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
Experience with printer mechanisms, precision mechanical systems, or similar electromechanical products
Strong understanding of design for manufacturing and assembly (DFMA)
Availability of approximately 20–40 hours per week

Preferred

Experience with sheet metal design, plastic injection molding, or printing/imaging equipment
Knowledge of thermal management in electronic equipment
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (UL, CE, etc.)
