They are seeking a flexible and resourceful Floating Assistant Community Manager to support operations across their multifamily apartment communities, handling leasing functions and property management responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Assist with lead follow-up, application processing, and lease execution in accordance with Sparrow standards
Conduct tours for prospective residents and highlight key property features and amenities
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property availability, pricing, and current leasing incentives
Assist with resident relations, including move-ins, renewals, and service concerns
Support the Community Manager with administrative duties including reporting, vendor coordination, and compliance tracking
Step in for Community Managers and Leasing Professionals during time off, supporting property operations and team oversight as needed
Travel to multiple properties across New Jersey based on business needs
Provide consistent support and uphold Sparrow’s brand standards at every location
Communicate effectively with both site-level teams and corporate leadership while ensuring seamless operational transitions between sites
Qualification
Required
Minimum of two years of multifamily property management experience, including leasing and assistant management responsibilities
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel daily within New Jersey
Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi/Rent Cafe
Excellent communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
Professional demeanor and the ability to adapt quickly to different teams and environments
Preferred
Prior experience supporting multiple sites or in a floating property management role
Strong organizational habits and ability to independently prioritize tasks across different properties
