Required

Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher
Completion of sophomore year is required prior to the internship start date
Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume
Rotation Requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation
Minimum duration: 12–14 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall)
Must be onsite; this is not a remote position
Must have reliable transportation
Aerospace or mechanical engineering major, with a focus on structures
Extensive background in data management with coursework or experience related to data science
Superior computer programming skills, including experience with Python, Visual Basic, SvelteKit, and other languages
Worked in the past with AI systems and machine learning
Foundational experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Siemens NX) through coursework or projects
Basic understanding of 3D modeling concepts and comfort working with mechanical or digital designs
Exposure to 3D rendering tools like Unity Pixyz, Blender, Babylon.js, or similar
Project exposure to Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for structure analysis
Familiarity with at least one programming language, preferably Python or JavaScript
Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git
Experience working with structured data formats such as JSON
Understanding of the software development lifecycle, especially Agile/Scrum practices
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment
