Vice President Client Development
Radius is an expanding, dynamic, and energetic business seeking a VP of Client Development to join their sales team. The role involves creating relationships with new clients, generating revenue through business development, and providing oversight throughout research engagements.
Responsibilities
Create relationships with new clients through a combination of your own prospecting efforts, leveraging your existing network, and pursuing leads provided by the company
Generate revenue and profit through your business development efforts to reach specific goals
Demonstrate knowledge about different types of research
Learn about our range of approaches and solutions to properly guide conversations with clients and ensure successful outcomes
Write proposals that clearly convey the value we provide to our clients (assistance and reference materials will be provided for this)
Provide oversight, input, and guidance throughout any research engagement you sell. This includes directing the research team and providing your input/approval at key milestones
Be willing to partner with others on the sales team as necessary and to contribute knowledge and expertise to the team
Build a research team with you as you grow your business – hiring new researchers, guiding their development, etc
Qualification
Required
Ability to generate new business on your own
Ability to nurture and grow profitable client relationships
Ideally have generated at least $1 million+ in revenue per year in your recent role(s)
Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
Experience writing full proposals, including methodology, analysis plans and activation outcomes
Knowledge of the research process and of how projects work
Knowledge of different research designs and solutions (including sophisticated approaches)
Understanding of the components that go into bidding a project
