B2B Territory Sales Representative
American International Foods, Inc. is a company focused on delivering value in the food & beverage, pet food, and personal care products industries. They are seeking a B2B Territory Sales Representative who will undergo a comprehensive training program to develop skills in lead generation and sales, eventually managing their own territory and building a book of business.
Responsibilities
Deliver maximum value to customers in the food & beverage, pet food, and personal care products industries
Complete a 90-day training program to develop necessary skills and strategic awareness
Place cold calls to leads and prospects to develop qualified sales leads
Communicate effectively with prospective customers to uncover their needs and present AIFI's value propositions
Demonstrate proficiency in generating qualified sales leads within 60 days
Become fully proficient in developing qualified sales leads and understanding AIFI systems and pricing within 90 days
Build and foster a book of business after promotion to Territory Sales Representative

AIFI Territory Sales Representatives (TSR's) are highly skilled solution providers, delivering maximum value to our base of customer in the food & beverage, pet food and personal care products industries
All sales representatives start in the Lead Generator position & go through a 90-day, small group & classroom setting training program
Our goal is within 90-days provide you the skills, strategical awareness and training necessary to develop into an AIFI Territory Sales Representative
After a period of at least 90 days, individuals that successfully complete the program, will have an opportunity to be promoted to a Territory Sales Representative and provided additional training to handle the entire sales cycle
Reporting to the Sales Training Manager, as a Lead Generator you will be given the initial training to develop the skills needed to confidently place cold calls to leads and prospects - developing qualified sales leads to pass along to AIFI Sales Representatives
Leads are provided to you during training & after!
In your first 30 days at AIFI as a Sales Representative you will immerse yourself into AIFI's comprehensive training program, gaining vital knowledge in the sales process and methodology, product list, ERP tool and operational advantages
You will also be able to effectively communicate with prospective customers, uncovering their needs and presenting AIFI's value propositions
Within 60 days you will demonstrate a greater proficiency in generating qualified sales leads
As well, you will have become a fanatical prospector exhibiting the ability to place 400 phone calls a week to leads and prospects
Within 90 days you will be fully proficient in developing qualified sales leads, having a deep knowledge of the key areas/ ingredients of advantage, AIFI systems, and pricing of products
Upon successfully completing the training program, you will be promoted into a Territory Sales Representative who is ready to start building and fostering their own book of business!
This is NOT a Churn-N-Burn program; we select up-to 4 candidates per 90-day training program

Monday - Friday: 8am to 5pm | Onsite Required | No nights or weekends
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Sales, Marketing or other related field of study preferred
Proficiency with computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to effectively communicate over the phone
Experience in the food ingredient industry
Experience with a CRM/ERP tool
Demonstrated ability to analyze data to translate results into numbers and solutions
Project management experience
