Responsibilities
Lead the design, build, and maintain automation solutions supporting semiconductor manufacturing systems (e.g., MES, SPC, FDC, equipment interfaces, infrastructure services)
Influences architecture decisions and automation strategy
Develop scripts, workflows, and orchestration pipelines using automation technologies (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, CI/CD tools)
Integrate automation across IT and OT systems while maintaining security and compliance standards
Acts as a technical resource or mentor to others
Partner with Manufacturing IT and Operations to automate recurring tasks such as system provisioning, environment validation, monitoring, patching, and deployment
Support factory automation initiatives that improve cycle time, yield, availability, or operational resilience
Ensure automation aligns with fab change-management, validation, and release processes
Identify manual or error-prone processes and propose automation opportunities to improve reliability and scalability
Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms for critical systems
Provide tier-3 support and troubleshooting for automation-related incidents
Ensure automation adheres to cybersecurity, data integrity, and access control requirements typical of semiconductor manufacturing environments
Produce and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and validation artifacts as required
Participate in audits, incident reviews, and root-cause analysis
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience
