Responsibilities
Lead and Support: Act as a dedicated mentor to a team of Account Managers, providing the leadership and resources they need to meet and exceed territory growth goals
Manage Performance Metrics: Monitor KPIs and sales activity to ensure the team is effectively pursuing new business while maintaining high-quality relationships with current accounts
Oversee Growth Strategies: Review and refine territory plans, ensuring Account Managers are identifying high-potential opportunities within their assigned geographic areas
Drive Process Excellence: Oversee the workflow of account management—from the initial "ask" to the final sign-up—ensuring your team provides coordinators with the right tools and portal access to maximize blood drive success
Foster Industry Passion: Cultivate a deep understanding of the blood banking mission within your team, encouraging them to represent Vitalant with authenticity and drive
Promote Best Practices: Lead by example by facilitating team collaboration, sharing successful recruitment strategies, and ensuring the team adheres to all internal processes and professional standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in related field
Valid in state driver's license
An additional three years related experience to include two years of supervisory experience
