Start in 2026 SummerLam Research is seeking an Environmental Intern to support their Global Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team. The intern will contribute to environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives, assist with document management, and perform inspections related to environmental programs.

Responsibilities
Assist global sites with air emissions inventory and stormwater site compliance evaluations
Support global sites with industrial wastewater sampling plans
Track findings from internal compliance audit
Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in the repository system
Conduct gap assessments of corporate environmental programs
Conduct inspections and observations related to:
Stormwater program
Onsite pretreatment systems
Chemical and hazardous waste storage areas
Qualification
Required
Bachelor-level student in Environmental Science, Engineering, or relevant field
Strong analytical skills
Good understanding of chemistry
Strong computer literacy skills including mastery knowledge of Microsoft suite (excel, word, power-point) skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and needs little supervision
