Responsibilities
Manage product safety compliance activities from design through production and post-market support
Ensure compliance with applicable UL/IEC Standards
Coordinate certification projects with NRTL and CB Scheme labs
Review product designs for electrical safety, insulation systems, creepage/clearance, grounding, and thermal protection
Prepare and maintain technical construction files (TCF), compliance documentation, and regulatory records
Support CE Marking, UKCA, FDA, and international market access approvals
Conduct risk assessments and safety evaluations in accordance with ISO 14971 and relevant standards
Support EMC and environmental compliance testing in collaboration with test labs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
3+ years experience in product safety, regulatory compliance, or certification engineering
Strong understanding of electrical safety fundamentals and certification requirements
Experience working with certification agencies and testing laboratories
Experience working to UL/IEC Standards
