Coordinator Clinical Informatics
HCA Florida Capital Hospital is an accredited healthcare facility seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst to support high quality, patient-centered care. The role involves implementing and providing ongoing support for clinical informatics initiatives, ensuring clinical applications are well supported throughout the facility.

Responsibilities
Supports division-wide standardization, utilization, integration, and optimization activities related to CPOE and other clinical applications and tools
Participates in the analysis of hospital clinical performance, including workflow, dataflow, outcome measures, quality and patient safety, clinical risk management, and root cause analysis. Focuses on improvement opportunities and prioritization within the framework of HCA’s enterprise clinical systems
Follows direction of project leadership of EHR and other technology implementations and optimization that support clinician workflow
Provides ongoing monitoring and analysis of various EHR utilization trends. Identifies gaps/opportunities and participates in the development of action plans
Provides at-the-elbow support for all Go-Live quality informatics initiatives to facilitate clinician engagement and minimize workflow interruption. Ensures ongoing support plans and resources are in place for all affected clinicians and personnel
Participates in the development, execution, and support of education plans, tools, and resources focused on the EHR and other clinical quality informatics initiatives
Identifies complex issues and requests escalated from the division Service Desk or other division or facility service resources
Establishes and maintains strong, effective working relationships with the entire project team, clinical leaders, business leaders, IT&S leaders, and staff
Works with facility and division leaders to drive improvement on publicly-reported measures, regulatory alignment, risk measures, clinical metric reporting, and HCA endorsed programs (Leapfrog, NCDR/STS, etc.)
Works with facility and division leaders to engage participation in HCA Clinical work teams, drive improvement on clinical quality initiatives, and advance the Clinical Excellence scorecard
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree -Required
Current RN FL License
1+ years applicable experience- Required
Preferred
Experience With MEDITECH Or Other EHR Systems- Preferred
Experience in implementation of technology- Preferred
