Senior LevelTPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their corporate team in McKinney, TX. This role is essential for managing financial operations across a portfolio of hotel locations, including preparing financial statements and maintaining accurate accounting records.

Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial P&L statements for assigned portfolio of hotels
Input and verify data in cloud-based hospitality specific accounting software (M3)
Prepare general ledger entries by maintaining records and files
Prepare multiple complex bank reconciliations
Accrue expenses and request disbursements
Process weekly AP check runs
Prepare weekly cash positions
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations monthly
Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Complete monthly closing cycle and prepare financials for multiple accounts
Protect organization's value by maintaining confidentiality of data and information
Qualification
Required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task and comfortable working in a fast paced and ever-changing environment
Proficient with prepaid and accrual schedules
Organized with a keen attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrate the ability to adhere to deadlines and checklists
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
