Engr II, Sustainment Automation Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
Troubleshooting support and recovery of faults on 20+ pieces of custom robotics around the factory
Implement improvements to production automation systems, primarily programming Robotics, PLCs, and Vision Systems
Document issues and resolutions in Azure DevOps to properly convey impact to leadership and stakeholders
Update documentation for changes made to deployed systems
Liaise with manufacturing engineering and operators to understand and resolve issues
Flow down issues and resolutions to first shift team
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations; or an advanced STEM degree in Engineering
Experience with industrial PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens, Beckhoff) or microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) and the accompanying software
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
