New Grad, Entry LevelNorthern Mortgage is seeking a Mortgage Loan Assistant to assist mortgage applicants and Loan Originators. The role involves reviewing mortgage loan information, providing updates to borrowers, and ensuring the loan processing and closing procedures are followed.

Responsibilities
Review mortgage loan information that has been originated and prepare for submission to processing, underwriting, and closing
Assist loan originator with completing mortgage information prior to loan originator sending loan application to borrower(s)
Providing borrowers and agents with status updates
Contacting borrowers for missing documents
Obtain credit reports and supplemental documents when needed
Input 1003 and income information in front end system
Provides guidance for borrowers on loan processing and closing process
Help obtain underwriting conditions from borrowers
Demonstrates NMS CHIPP philosophy in all interactions
Performs other duties as assigned
Help with Database Management
Assist LO with requests and tasks
Qualification
Required
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Some prior mortgage experience preferred
