Responsibilities
Participate in the design process, assisting in developing design calculations, design drawings, and construction specifications for structures made of steel, concrete, and masonry
Support the development of life changing infrastructure that improves communities all over the United States
Qualification
Required
Sole US citizenship required (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)
B.S. in Structural/Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school
0-3+ years of post-education experience
Engineering in Training (EIT) certificate obtained or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment
Ability to follow and implement established quality procedures and ensure that all work accomplished is procedurally compliant
Ability to learn new software as necessary for project success
Competence using Microsoft Office software
Reside within a commutable distance from our Oak Ridge, TN office
Valid driver's license is required
Must be able to work in a team atmosphere
Must put forward professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation
Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others
Must take and pass a pre-employment drug and background check
Preferred
Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, or MicroStation software
