Responsibilities

Research includes identity verification and a review of federal and state litigation, bankruptcies, liens, judgments, UCC filings, media searches, social media, national, federal/ state regulatory databases, verification of professional licensing, corporate information, and limited partnership filings
Online due diligence research to include social media, adverse media, websites, and other areas of investigative research
Composition of individual and corporate research reports according to client specifications based upon results of research
Assist leadership with the overall management of accounts as needed and requested
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Other duties as assigned by senior leadership

Required

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience or 4+ years of work-related experience recommended
High degree of analytical skill and demonstrated proficiency in preparing actionable intelligence reports
Ability to utilize intelligent technology and to adapt to and adopt new and emerging research techniques
Ability to work independently and develop resolutions to 'road-blocks' encountered during research/investigation
Ability to discuss research requirements and subsequent results with department leaders
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to get involved in a wide range of administrative, research and report writing tasks as required

Preferred

Corporate due diligence, compliance, legal and/or regulatory background
Demonstrated proficiency within ZipCrim
International experience
Knowledge of online research databases including Westlaw, LexisNexis or similar databases strongly preferred
Foreign language skills
