Responsibilities
Developing and coaching Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops at world-class standards
Building comprehensive Guide Playbooks that document facilitation best practices, effective learning activity design, and challenge resolution strategies
Delivering consistent, actionable coaching to Guides that drives elevated student engagement and performance
Serving as a direct mentor to a select group of students, demonstrating expert-level coaching and motivation techniques
Develop Guides and mentor students to ensure every learner in your cohort experiences genuine enthusiasm for school, accelerates learning at 2× the typical rate, and achieves mastery of essential life skills. No exceptions
Qualification
Required
Currently located in or prepared to relocate for on-site work at an Alpha Campus (Bethesda, MD; Chicago, IL; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA)
Hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or a closely related field
Proven track record designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or professional training initiatives
Exceptional leadership and mentorship capabilities with demonstrated success building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams
Professional experience working with young people (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings
Strong analytical skills and experience leveraging data and metrics to inform strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement
Legal authorization to work in the United States
