Responsibilities
Supports planning, scheduling, and maintenance activities
Proactively maintains all water treatment and distribution systems, on-demand boiler functions, and equipment including process water system, boilers, and compressed air
Regulatory and compliance record keeping for all systems
Perform routine and emergency maintenance (major and minor) of utility systems in multi-craft environments including PLC’s, instrumentation, mechanical, electrical (480VAC, 220/240VAC, 120/208VAC, 24VDC) and general equipment repair
Responsible for Preventative Maintenance (PM) and work order completion in a timely manner
Perform other duties as required by the Maintenance Manager
Practices 200% safety accountability in self and others
Qualification
Required
High School diploma/GED required
Understanding of electrical schematics and ability to troubleshoot/repair electrical circuits and controls is required
3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
The ability to work in a cold environment is required
Knowledge of manufacturing, production, packaging, and labeling equipment
Ability to demonstrate a high level of troubleshooting, comprehension, and operational experience
Preferred
Related technical field experience and or certification preferred
Previous maintenance experience in a food manufacturing setting is preferred
Knowledge and experience with Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO), 5S and Lean Manufacturing processes
Knowledge and skill of MIG, TIG, fabrication, joining, and repair of varieties of metals including stainless steel for food grade applications, various production equipment, and structures
