Lead Full Stack Developer/Architect (Remote)
Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a high-performing Lead Full-Stack Developer / Architect to serve as the "Technical Anchor" for a sophisticated cloud-native modernization initiative. This role is responsible for architecting the end-to-end solution within a native Microsoft Azure environment, leading a cross-functional DevOps team to enhance service delivery at the enterprise level.

Responsibilities
Design and develop a complex Power Apps Canvas application with Power Automate, Connectors and Azure Function app APIs
Design and develop PowerBI reports
Integrate AI Builder low code no code AI user assistance into applications
Integrate bot services for complex AI user assistance into applications
Lead the development of a "Build Once, Deploy Many" (BODM) solution that functions natively across web and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms
Design and implement high-level system architecture featuring an integrated API layer, workflow layer, and data lake cluster
Lead the development of a "Build Once, Deploy Many" (BODM) solution that functions natively across web and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms
Assist with CI/CD pipelines and ensure all application telemetry is formatted for ingestion by enterprise monitoring tools (e.g. Azure Monitor)
Lead and mentor cross-functional Developers and DevOps team members in best practices and modern development methodologies
Maintain code quality standards and conduct architectural reviews to ensure scalability, security, and maintainability
Provide technical guidance and decision-making for complex architectural challenges
Ensure solutions meet federal security and compliance requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 8–10 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural capacity
Proven relevant experience within the last 18 months in software development and Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration
Extensive experience building and deploying applications within Microsoft Azure (FedRAMP Moderate) environments
Power Platform, Specialized Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert)
Exceptional communication skills in English – both written and oral – and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical IT stakeholders
Azure Functions and Azure API Management
Expert level in Microsoft Power Platform
Advanced proficiency in Javascript, SQL and Python
Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and practices, including automated security testing and continuous monitoring
Experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
Proven ability to lead technical teams and provide architectural direction
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges
Experience with full-stack development spanning front-end, back-end, and database layers
Knowledge of security best practices including encryption, authentication, and authorization frameworks
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Moderate Risk) background investigation
Ready to travel for site discovery and deep validation sprints, potentially including weekends or holidays to meet mission objectives
Preferred
Advanced degrees (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or related field
Expertise with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Azure Functions, Azure bot services
Experience Microsoft Identity Platform
Experience implementing application authentication with Login.gov or Azure AD B2C for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Familiarity with the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for interchanging data between internal and external systems
Experience with mobile application development for iOS and Android platforms
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates
Understanding of Section 508 accessibility standards and federal compliance requirements
Experience working in a federal government IT environment
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
