Responsibilities
Support monthly and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Own key balance sheet accounts, ensuring timely reconciliation and resolution of variances
Support lease and portfolio accounting, including originations, modifications, income recognition, and allowances
Assist with audit preparation, accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance requirements
Support lender and covenant reporting with accurate schedules and documentation
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance close efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Collaborate with the accounting team to support execution, prioritization, and documentation standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within equipment finance, leasing, lending, or financial services
Strong GAAP knowledge with hands-on close, reconciliations, and audit support experience
Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with detailed schedules
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Clear communicator who can work cross-functionally
Preferred
CPA preferred, not required
