Echo Global Logistics is a leading provider of technology-enabled transportation management services. They are seeking a passionate self-starter for the Account Executive I role, which supports the sales team in delivering outstanding service by managing clients' shipping needs and building relationships with key accounts.

Responsibilities

Utilize Echo’s proprietary software to build and manage all shipments assigned to your team

Schedule pickup and delivery appointments based on customer specific needs and priorities

Work with internal partners to ensure that all client shipments are proactively booked and tracked for on-time pickup and delivery

Maintain and follow current operating procedures

Partner with and mentor Logistics Coordinators to share workload and allow prioritization based on client needs

Be an expert using Echo’s proprietary technology to perform all tasks required to fulfill client requests

Work with multiple sales reps across multiple sales managers

Required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in Windows Operating systems and Microsoft Office suite

Proven track record of exceptional customer service/handling customer issues

Strong inter-departmental and client relationship building skills

Thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment that requires multi-tasking and problem solving

Preferred

BA/BS degree preferred, but not required

Relevant Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Transportation industries preferred, but not required
