Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and define project scope, requirements, and deliverables
Translate business needs into technical specifications and data models
Design, develop, and maintain Azure SQL databases, stored procedures, and ETL pipelines
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and performance across all reporting solutions
Manage Power BI Online Workspaces and ensure scheduled data refreshes are functioning
Provide technical guidance on best practices for data visualization and reporting
Document data models, processes, and reporting logic for internal use and compliance
Support ad hoc data analysis and reporting requests from business units
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in full-stack development with a focus on Azure SQL and Power BI
Strong proficiency in T-SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning
Experience with Power BI, DAX, and Power Query
Ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Passion for solving complex problems with data and technology
Preferred
Experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or other Azure data services
Familiarity with financial products and services (e.g., lending, deposits)
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Knowledge of DevOps practices
Previous experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Apache and other ML automation tools is a plus
