They are seeking a Lab Technician responsible for testing raw materials and production samples to ensure they meet specifications, while supporting the Quality Coordinator with various tasks in a lab environment.

Responsibilities
Daily testing samples of raw materials, blend samples and production samples
Daily sample data entry
Support with equipment calibrations, general preventive maintenance and cleaning of the lab
Other tasks as determined by the Quality Coordinator
Must operate in an ISO 9001 and Responsible Care 140001 certified facility. Also support the 5S culture
Qualification
Required
Associates Degree with a Science focus is required
2 years experience in a lab environment
Attention to detail, organization, follow through
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift, standing, climbing stairs
Ability to travel up to 20% to other locations
Preferred
Bachelors of Science is a plus
Plus if experience is in a manufacturing facility
SAP experience is a plus
