Responsibilities

Own and execute the enterprise PMO strategy, aligning delivery to company priorities and customer/employee outcomes
Lead portfolio planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to ensure highest-value work is funded and delivered
Establish and run an enterprise governance model (stage gates, decision criteria, escalation paths, and executive reporting)
Drive consistent delivery across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid frameworks—improving predictability, transparency, and outcomes
Oversee program/project health to ensure initiatives meet scope, timeline, budget, and success measures
Build and lead a high-performing PMO organization (Product Owners, Program/Project Managers, Agile teams) through coaching, development, and engagement
Partner with C-suite leaders to translate strategy into executable roadmaps, resolve roadblocks, and drive cross-functional alignment
Champion value realization by defining ROI, benefits, and KPIs for initiatives and tracking outcomes post-delivery
Implement dashboards and analytics for portfolio visibility, KPI reporting, and data-driven decisions
Own workforce planning, succession planning, and PMO operating rhythms to scale delivery during growth and transformation

Required

Bachelor's degree required
10+ years progressive leadership experience in PMO, Program Management, Product Management, or Enterprise Delivery
Proven partnership with C-suite and executive leadership to shape strategy, priorities, and investment decisions
Experience leading PMOs through organizational transformation
Experience standing up or modernizing a PMO and building a high-performing team
Experience scaling delivery organizations through rapid growth
Demonstrated success leading Product Owners, Program Managers, and cross-functional delivery teams
Strong track record in benefits realization, value tracking, and portfolio prioritization
Deep knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
Strong executive presence, communication, and influence across all levels
Ability to drive enterprise transformation, governance, and portfolio-level decisions
Strong business acumen—connect execution to strategy and measurable business value
Change leadership mindset with a customer-focused approach to delivery outcomes
PM software and visualization tools (e.g., Jira/Azure DevOps/Smartsheet/MS Project/Power BI, depending on environment)

Preferred

PMP and/or Agile certifications are a plus
