Responsibilities
Lead and supervise all field operations on assigned mechanical construction projects
Direct and motivate field crews, forepersons, and subcontractors
Ensure all work is performed safely and in full OSHA compliance
Coordinate tools, equipment, materials, and jobsite needs for efficient execution
Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity, schedule, and cost
Interpret project plans, specifications, and mechanical work scopes
Track field productivity and job cost performance for assigned activities
Apply QA/QC processes to ensure high-quality workmanship
Oversee daily construction activity and proactively address changing site conditions
Manage documentation, submittals, material tracking, and jobsite reporting
Prepare and submit weekly safety reports
Plan manpower needs to support project delivery and schedule goals
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in heavy civil or industrial construction
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required
Proven experience as a superintendent on mechanical-focused construction projects
Experience supporting water and wastewater treatment plants and pump stations
Strong knowledge of jobsite safety practices, OSHA standards, and QA/QC processes
Ability to manage fast-paced schedules and shifting field priorities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Valid driver's license
Demonstrated ability to lead field teams and manage site operations at a high level
