The intern will evaluate and treat students under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist, focusing on improving clinical decision-making and collaboration with patients and health professionals.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat the students at iHope, with consent from the parents, under the direction of a licensed physical therapist
Assess, plan, and implement physical therapy treatment that is appropriate to the patient's needs
Observe and report on the condition, conduct, and progress to the assigned clinical instructor/licensed physical therapist
Provide an in-service regarding current practice in Physical Therapy or case presentation to the Physical Therapy department towards the end of the clinical rotation

Required

Current student in a physical therapy program
Ability to evaluate and treat students under the direction of a licensed physical therapist
Skills in clinical decision-making and clinical thinking

Ability to provide an in-service regarding current practice in Physical Therapy or case presentation
