Responsibilities
Source construction materials, components, and related services for active projects
Obtain competitive supplier quotes and assist in developing accurate material and labor pricing
Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and internal stakeholders to understand scope, schedules, and procurement needs
Enter and maintain accurate purchase orders and related data in company systems (e.g., SAGE / TNT)
Serve as a point of contact with suppliers on pricing, lead times, availability, and order status
Coordinate with third-party fabricators under management direction and approval
Expedite orders as needed to meet project schedules, with management approval when cost or commitments are impacted
Coordinate logistics for deliveries to job sites, warehouses, or designated locations
Identify potential delays or supply chain risks and communicate them with recommended next steps
Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including POs, shipping paperwork, labels, and delivery records
Track costs accurately and support invoice reconciliation with accounting and management
Maintain organized procurement records in compliance with company policies and audit requirements
Follow established procurement processes and seek guidance when deviations are required
Perform other related duties as assigned to support procurement operations and project execution
Qualification
Required
Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain support—preferably in construction or manufacturing environments
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication skills for working with suppliers, fabricators, and internal teams
Proficiency with purchasing/ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to analyze pricing, lead times, and logistics to support cost-effective decisions
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and documentation skills
The successful candidate must also pass a background check
