Responsibilities
Drive growth across a portfolio of independent lift repair shops, regional distributors, and national automotive service chains
Develop strategic relationships within national accounts
Effectively navigate and manage channel conflict between direct accounts and distributor/jobber partners
Support distributors in growing their sales footprint while pursuing direct opportunities with larger chains when appropriate
Conduct regular customer outreach through field visits, calls, and virtual meetings
Build deep product understanding and articulate the breadth of SVI’s parts catalog and service value
Collaborate with internal teams—including Product Management, Customer Service, and Leadership—to address customer needs and improve service
Maintain accurate forecasting, account planning, and pipeline activity
Provide market intelligence including competitive trends, customer behaviors, and emerging opportunities
Travel as needed for customer visits (expected frequency varies by territory)
Periodic travel to SVI headquarters (monthly or quarterly)
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably calling on Automotive repair shops, Automotive service chains, Distributors (WDs) or jobbers
Demonstrated success in field sales or territory management (can be from a distributor or manufacturer environment)
Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in ambiguity and manage complex customer/channel dynamics
Hungry, driven, and motivated for career growth
Preferred
Experience in the automotive aftermarket, equipment repair, or related industry
Understanding of lift repair, shop equipment, or industrial parts distribution
