Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic partner to OpCo commercial leaders, helping them design and execute growth strategies across sales, marketing, pricing, and customer success
Lead the modernization of commercial processes—including pipeline management, forecasting, territory planning, account prioritization, and sales motion optimization
Drive adoption of CRM, digital tools, and data-driven practices that strengthen accountability, improve productivity, and accelerate revenue outcomes
Collaborate with sales operations and RevOps teams to identify bottlenecks and opportunities, translate business needs into structured initiatives, and drive measurable commercial improvements
Guide OpCos entering new markets by installing scalable commercial infrastructure, operating rhythms, and digital systems that support predictable growth
Shape and deploy Fortive-wide commercial playbooks, growth frameworks, and best practices
Champion digital transformation across OpCos, ensuring that teams fully leverage modern CRM, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to drive customer engagement and sales performance
Partner with senior executives—including CROs, CSOs, CPOs, CMOs, and OpCo Presidents—to communicate commercial strategies, growth opportunities, and business outcomes
Drive change management to ensure commercial organizations embrace new processes, behaviors, and digital capabilities
Lead, coach, and develop a global team supporting commercial excellence, digital transformation, and sales operations initiatives
Partner with OpCo leadership to translate sales, marketing, pricing, and customer experience needs into structured commercial growth programs
Oversee CRM, sales operations, and digital platform governance to ensure consistent, high-impact use across OpCos
Design and implement scalable commercial processes—including lead management, funnel conversion, sales forecasting, and customer lifecycle optimization
Define KPIs and track business impact, including conversion rates, pipeline health, sales productivity, pricing outcomes, and marketing ROI
Accelerate adoption of digital and data-driven practices across OpCos, ensuring commercial teams use insights to drive daily decision-making
Stay current on emerging commercial technologies, sales operations best practices, and modern digital go-to-market models

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or related field
10+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in sales operations, commercial excellence, go-to-market strategy, or related roles
5+ years leading high-performing teams, including global or distributed teams
Demonstrated experience improving sales productivity, pipeline performance, or commercial outcomes
Hands-on experience with CRM and digital sales/marketing plus AI tools, with a strong understanding of how they support commercial workflows
Proven ability to engage senior executives and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Experience with operational rigor, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making

Preferred

Experience leading or supporting digital transformation initiatives across sales or marketing functions
Background in B2B industrial technology, enterprise software, or complex commercial environments
Experience with RevOps, pricing management, or customer lifecycle optimization
Familiarity with AI-enabled commercial tools (e.g., lead prioritization, forecasting, engagement insights) is a plus, though not required
Experience supporting new market entry and building commercial infrastructure from the ground up
Exposure to the Fortive Business System (FBS) or similar lean methodologies
