The VP of Finance partners closely with regional and enterprise leadership, including senior operations and finance executives, to translate financial insight into actionable business decisions
The role carries full financial ownership for the region and acts as the primary financial voice supporting operational leadership
Responsibilities span planning, reporting, compliance, and team leadership, with a strong emphasis on enabling the business through clear analysis, sound controls, and proactive decision support
The VP of Finance leads regional financial planning activities, including forecasting, annual budgeting, and longer-range planning efforts
This leader provides ongoing financial insight to regional executives, helping evaluate performance trends, assess risk, and identify opportunities to improve results and support strategic growth initiatives
This role holds full P&L responsibility for the New York region
The VP of Finance monitors results against budget and key performance indicators, identifies variances and emerging risks, and works with leadership to address cost, margin, and revenue opportunities
The role plays a central part in revenue optimization, cost discipline, and overall margin improvement
The position oversees the preparation of timely, accurate financial reporting, including dashboards and executive-level summaries
Responsibilities include cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning, as well as financial support for pricing decisions, contract evaluations, and scenario analysis tied to operational and commercial decisions
The VP of Finance ensures all financial activities align with GAAP, internal policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations
The role works closely with corporate finance and audit teams to maintain strong internal controls and support compliance initiatives across the region
This leader manages and develops a regional finance team, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
The role includes coaching, mentoring, and building bench strength to support both current operations and future growth
The VP of Finance partners closely with Operations, HR, Procurement, and Fleet teams to ensure financial alignment across the business
The role also supports strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, integrations, and system enhancements, and represents the region in broader enterprise finance discussions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required
7 to 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally within a multi-location service operations industry
Minimum of 3 years of direct people management experience
Demonstrated success with P&L ownership and driving measurable business outcomes
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities
Experience with ERP systems, financial modeling, and reporting or dashboard tools
Willingness to travel within the region

MBA or CPA preferred
