Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership for electrical and instrumentation engineering activities on assigned projects
Execute and review E&I engineering work to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements
Support planning and coordination of engineering resources and workload across multiple projects
Develop, review, and maintain E&I engineering documentation, including:
Electrical power distribution, grounding, lighting, and hazardous area documentation
Instrumentation specifications, data sheets, and system documentation
Cable, conduit, and wiring documentation
Control and system architecture diagrams
Interface with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions
Review and provide E&I input to process drawings and project documentation
Support procurement activities through technical evaluations and vendor document reviews
Participate in site visits, field verification, and issue resolution during construction
Support commissioning and start-up activities as required
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 11 years of relevant electrical and instrumentation engineering experience
Experience delivering E&I engineering work for oil and gas facilities, including onshore upstream, pipelines facilities, and storage
Working knowledge of power systems, instrumentation, and control systems
Ability to interpret and develop engineering documentation independently
Experience supporting construction and commissioning activities
Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license
