Stress Analysis Engineer
Natilus is building the next generation of aviation through the development of blended-wing-body aircraft, delivering a step-change in overall efficiency. They are seeking a Stress Analysis Engineer to conduct detailed structural analysis of composite and metallic airframe components using FEA methods to assess performance, fatigue life, and durability.

Responsibilities
Perform stress analysis on composite and metallic airframe components, including sizing of detail parts and assessing the strength of primary and secondary aircraft structures and systems
Author and release analysis documentation
Own and develop airframe level models and analysis
Assess new and existing designs by performing strength analysis, supporting drawing release, and preparing analysis reports
Evaluate and compare structural efficiency and weight for different structural arrangements and concepts through analysis and trade studies
Provide input for structural tests, including test requirements, loads, and predicted results
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 7 years of directly related work experience
Bachelor of Science in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience
Experience with structural analysis of primary and secondary airframe structure
Experience with composite and metallic analysis
Proficiency in NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks
Experience planning and executing various system tests
Understanding of Part 23 requirements
