Responsibilities
Lead product designs from early concept development through full commercialization
Ensure designs meet performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability targets
Develop innovative solutions to complex mechanical engineering challenges
Create and refine designs using CAD tools and collaboration with 3D modeling teams
Present engineering concepts through design reviews and drawing approvals
Validate product designs through lab testing and end-user evaluation
Partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing to support product growth and continuous improvement
Support quality enhancement and cost-reduction initiatives for existing product lines
Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualification
Required
Engineering Degree
Experience leading mechanical engineering projects
Defining product requirements
Developing concepts and detailed designs
Supporting qualification through analysis and testing
Driving design transfer into manufacturing
Knowledge of metal manufacturing processes such as machining and assembly
Proficiency with design and engineering software, including SolidWorks or AutoCAD experience
