Responsibilities
Responsible for the status of the facility from the basement to the roof including air handling units, water systems, air and vacuum systems, and more
Maintain facility operations and ensure vital support equipment is functioning properly
Support EHS programs such as life critical rules throughout the facility
Manage all maintenance contracts with vendors, and assure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time
Coordinate with production and other stakeholders regarding project scheduling and fulfillment
Collaborate with maintenance to accomplish tasks
Suggest areas for improving facilities operations with a focus on energy savings and equipment uptime
Manage budget for facility projects and spending for the facilities department
Qualification
Required
Only US Citizens, Green Card holders, political asylees, or refugees are eligible to apply
4+ years of work experience or project experience related to the upkeep of a factory/facility
Must be willing to travel regularly between our two facilities, both located in Huntsville, approximately 20 minutes apart to support both sites
Some weekend or evening work may be required to troubleshoot issues
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or other related discipline preferred
Prior leadership experience helpful, but not required
