Senior ECommerce Partner Manager
Hudson Valley Lighting Group is a worldwide leader in the design, manufacturing, and omnichannel distribution of decorative and architectural lighting fixtures. The Senior Ecommerce Partner Manager is responsible for maximizing performance across key third-party ecommerce accounts, collaborating with the Ecommerce Sales Manager to execute channel strategies and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Support the Ecommerce Sales Manager in forecasting, business planning, and identifying strategic opportunities that influence channel growth
Develop strategies to grow existing ecommerce accounts and identify new partners aligned with brand standards and revenue potential
Build and maintain long-term, high-value customer relationships, ensuring our brands remain top of mind through consistent engagement
Collaborate with accounts to curate product assortments that maximize conversion, brand integrity, and customer satisfaction
Respond quickly to market shifts and competitive dynamics to help partners remain positioned for success
Identify underperforming accounts early, analyze root causes, and drive corrective action plans
Oversee performance across the broader account portfolio, providing insights that guide prioritization and strategic focus
Serve as an escalation point for complex partner issues, helping Partner Managers navigate challenges that require deeper platform knowledge or elevated judgment
Assist in improving processes across merchandising, AR, EDI, and reporting to enhance team efficiency and operational scalability
Provide technically accurate guidance to partners on platform use, integrations, and in-house technology capabilities
Identify themes and trends in partner interactions; communicate insights to product, web, and operations teams to support continuous improvement
Use advanced Excel and analytical skills to:
Track account performance trends
Build projections and forecasting models
Assess ROI
Support data-driven recommendations
Identify automation opportunities and workflow improvements that streamline backend and internal processes
Work with Product Strategy on private label opportunities and with Contract/Hospitality teams on high-volume partner initiatives
Manage EDI setup and assessments, ensuring time and cost align with projected partner performance
Collaborate effectively with internal teams including Business Development, Marketing, Web Development, Finance, and Operations to ensure smooth execution and alignment
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in ecommerce account management, marketplace management, or related digital commerce roles
Demonstrated success growing ecommerce or marketplace accounts
Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, index/match, forecasting)
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate insights into action
Proven experience working cross-functionally across product, operations, marketing, and technology teams
Excellent communication and documentation skills with a customer-first approach
Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
Strong organizational and project management skills
Includes periodic travel for major trade shows, partner events, and on-site collaboration at company headquarters
US citizen or permanent resident (no Visa sponsorship available)
