Responsibilities
Conducting medical record reviews to evaluate compliance to accreditation standards
Performing data abstraction to capture clinical performance required for federal quality and patient safety initiatives reporting
Proactively accessing information pertaining to, and monitoring timelines for compliance with, state and federal quality reporting requirements
Responsible for abstracting the data needed to meet quality initiatives
Conducting concurrent medical record reviews, audits and data abstraction to ensure accurate representation of patient clinical care
Qualification
Required
Coursework/Training: Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing
Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
3 years of RN experience in healthcare
Experience working with electronic health records
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree
Experience coordinating quality improvement initiatives
